Legal
Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern purchases from the WiFiTayo Shop, including configured routers, access points and extenders, plug-and-play vendo boxes, accessories, and merchant packages. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Effective date: September 28, 2026
1. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in the Philippines. If you order for a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to bind them.
You must provide accurate account, contact, delivery, and payment information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.
2. Products and compatibility
We sell configured networking equipment and accessories. “Plug and play” means an item is preconfigured for its stated WiFiTayo use; it does not mean every location, internet service, electrical setup, device, or third-party network will work without adjustment.
- Product images may be illustrative. Brand, model, ports, inclusions, and specifications are those shown on the product page or order confirmation, subject to non-material manufacturer changes.
- You are responsible for suitable internet service, power, cabling, mounting, mobile signal or wallet availability, and any prerequisites stated in the listing.
- Wireless range, speed, uptime, captive-portal access, and user capacity depend on interference, building materials, placement, internet service, and third-party systems.
- Unless expressly included in the listing, installation, civil or electrical work, internet service, permits, and on-site support are not included.
Contact us before ordering if compatibility is essential. Nothing on the shop is a guarantee of income, customer traffic, vendo revenue, uninterrupted operation, or a specific return on investment.
3. Orders, prices, and availability
Prices are in Philippine pesos. The checkout shows the item subtotal, shipping, initial package payment, and total due at checkout. Any continuing license fee or installment schedule is disclosed in the package description and order details.
Submitting checkout is an offer to buy. An order is accepted when we confirm payment and acceptance, not merely when an order number is generated. We may reject or cancel an order for stock errors, obvious pricing mistakes, suspected fraud, unsupported delivery locations, legal restrictions, or inability to fulfill. If we cancel after collecting payment, we will provide an appropriate refund.
We may limit quantities and correct accidental catalog errors. We will seek your approval before substituting a materially different item.
4. Payment and package installments
Checkout payments are processed through PayMongo using QR Ph and supported banks or wallets. Payment is complete only when our system confirms cleared funds. Your provider may impose separate terms, limits, or fees.
For an installment package, the initial amount and delivery charges are due at checkout. Remaining installments, amounts, and due dates are shown in the listing, order details, or WiFiTayo merchant app. You agree to pay them when due. Any suspension for nonpayment will apply only as disclosed and permitted by law; we will not remotely disable unrelated third-party equipment. Contact us promptly if a payment is incorrectly recorded.
5. Delivery and inspection
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Risk of loss passes as provided by applicable law and confirmed delivery procedures. You must provide a serviceable address and an authorized recipient. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery, or an unclaimed parcel may be charged where lawful and disclosed.
Inspect the parcel promptly. Photograph the packaging and items, retain all materials, and notify us at support@wifitayo.com as soon as reasonably possible if an item is missing, damaged in transit, incorrect, or defective. Courier tracking marked “delivered” does not remove rights available under law.
6. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
You may request cancellation before fulfillment, but configured-to-order or already shipped items may not be cancellable except where required by law. A change of mind does not automatically entitle a buyer to return a non-defective item.
Defective, damaged, misdescribed, or incorrect goods are eligible for the remedies required by Philippine consumer law, which may include repair, replacement, refund, or another appropriate remedy. We may test returned equipment and require proof of purchase. Do not return an item without receiving return instructions. Approved refunds are sent through the original payment channel where practicable and may take additional processing time at the bank or wallet provider.
Nothing in these Terms waives non-excludable rights under the Consumer Act, Internet Transactions Act, or other applicable Philippine law. Any separate written return or warranty policy forms part of these Terms and cannot reduce those rights.
7. Configuration, warranty, and support
Manufacturer warranties, if any, follow their stated terms. Our configuration service covers the delivered setup described in the listing. Support may require account verification, diagnostics, remote guidance, or return of equipment.
Coverage may be denied, to the extent permitted by law, for problems caused by:
- unauthorized firmware, configuration, repair, tampering, or removal of identifiers;
- misuse, incompatible power supplies, surges, water, pests, impact, or improper installation;
- internet-provider failures, wireless interference, third-party services, or unsupported equipment; or
- normal wear, consumables, cosmetic damage, or use outside published limits.
Resetting or modifying a configured device may remove WiFiTayo settings and require paid reconfiguration where the issue is not a covered defect. We will disclose any fee before performing chargeable work.
8. Merchant responsibilities and acceptable use
You are responsible for operating the equipment and your internet-vendo business lawfully, safely, and in accordance with telecom, cybersecurity, consumer, tax, local-permit, and data-protection requirements that apply to you.
You must not use products or WiFiTayo services to:
- gain unauthorized access, intercept communications, spread malware, or evade security controls;
- infringe intellectual property, facilitate fraud, or offer unlawful content or services;
- misrepresent affiliation with WiFiTayo or alter safety and regulatory markings; or
- disrupt our systems, other networks, or other customers.
You must give your own hotspot users any legally required notices and obtain required permissions. Your purchase does not transfer WiFiTayo trademarks, software ownership, or rights beyond the limited use needed to operate the purchased product and subscribed service.
9. Third-party services and service changes
Sign-in, payment, courier, internet, bank, wallet, and manufacturer services are operated by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent outage or conduct, but this does not limit our responsibility for selecting and managing providers where the law makes us responsible. We may update WiFiTayo software or configurations for security, compatibility, or reliability, while avoiding material reduction of paid functionality without notice or an appropriate remedy.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted shop or network availability, guaranteed wireless performance, or business profit. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable from our breach.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to it. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of data-protection duties, or any consumer remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Changes, governing law, and disputes
The Terms in effect when an order is accepted govern that purchase. We may revise these Terms for future orders by posting a new effective date. Material changes to an ongoing paid service will be notified as required by law.
Philippine law governs these Terms. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. You may also use remedies available through the Department of Trade and Industry, courts, or other competent agencies. Any venue provision is subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
12. Contact
Questions, cancellations, warranty requests, and complaints may be sent to WiFiTayo at support@wifitayo.com. Include your order number, but never email a password, one-time PIN, QR payment code, or full financial credentials.
